Google reputation for Texas restaurant groups: one scorecard, one brand voice

A Texas restaurant group with locations in Dallas, Houston, Austin or San Antonio needs every location answered in the same voice and measured the same way. Westify drafts a reply to every Google review for each location, you approve or automate them, and one panel shows each location's Westify Score, themes and Google metrics side by side.

Restaurant group reputation
For a restaurant group, Google reputation is the sum of every location's reviews, replies and ratings. Guests compare locations before they pick one, so a weak location pulls on the whole brand.

What makes Google reviews different for a Texas restaurant group?

Texas groups tend to grow across metros instead of inside one. A Tex-Mex concept opens in Dallas, then Houston, then Austin, and each location gets its own Google profile, its own reviews and often its own manager writing replies. Within a year the brand sounds like four different restaurants online.

The menus also drive specific reviews. Barbecue gets reviews about what sold out and when. Taco shops and fast casual spots get reviews about speed and portions. Full-service Tex-Mex gets reviews about the wait on a Friday and the margaritas. Your replies need to sound like you on every one of them.

How do you keep one brand voice from DFW to San Antonio?

  1. Write the voice once for the brand: tone, sign-off and what never goes in a reply.
  2. Copy it to every location in the panel, then add each location's own details, like hours or a patio.
  3. Start with every reply waiting for approval, so each GM reads the drafts for their location.
  4. After a few weeks, automate the ratings you trust, usually 4 and 5 stars.
  5. Keep 1–2★ replies on hold and add each GM to their location's alert list.

A review written in Spanish gets its reply in Spanish, and one in English gets an English reply. Your GM edits a copy in the account's language next to it, and that edit goes back into the guest's language. The full method is in the review reply playbook.

Which review themes come up for Texas restaurants?

Every location gets its own themes in the monthly report. In Texas, a few patterns are worth watching from the first month:

Texas theme hooks and what to check
ThemeWhere it shows upWhat to check first
Heat and ACPatios and dining rooms in summerAC service before May, fans and shade on the patio
WaitsWeekend dinner, brunch, barbecue linesCovers per slot, a waitlist that texts guests
PortionsFast casual and taco shops after a price changePlate specs by location, and the menu on Google
Sold outBarbecue and anything smokedSay when items sell out on your site and in the reply
ParkingStrip centers and busy cornersParking notes on the Google profile and a sign at the lot

Turn the top one into a fix with review themes for restaurant ops.

How do you compare locations on one scorecard?

The Westify Score gives each location a number from 0 to 100, built from Rating, New reviews, Replied and What they say. Put the locations side by side once a month: a location whose Replied part drops usually has a GM who stopped approving drafts, and a location whose What they say part drops has a theme to fix.

Pulse adds the daily Google views, calls and clicks for each location. Competition shows your area, week by week, for up to five nearby businesses you pick per location. More in the Westify Score and Pulse.

Custom reports with your logo let you send one branded report to partners or investors each month.

Can a Texas group run one loyalty card across locations?

Yes. A shared card counts stamps at every location, so a guest who eats in Houston and Austin fills one card. It lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, servers stamp from their phone, and it rewards visits, never reviews. See the loyalty card guide.

What happens when a location gets a bad review?

The owner and that location's alert list get an email. The reply waits for approval by default, so the GM can check with the shift first. A review that mentions a lawyer, a lawsuit or an injury always waits, whatever you automate. The steps are in the 1–2★ review SOP. For volume across sites, Google's own guidance stays the same: reply to reviews and report the ones that break its policies.

What does it cost for a Texas restaurant group?

Plans are $29, $59 or $119 a month per location, with up to 300, 1,000 or 2,500 replies a month. Every plan has every feature, team users are unlimited, and paying yearly is 15% off. A group picks a plan per location, so a busy flagship can be on Enterprise while a smaller location is on Basic. The loyalty card is included on Growth ($59) and Enterprise ($119). On Basic ($29) it is a $7.99 a month add-on. All prices are per location, with no charge per member or per notification. See pricing.

For a general overview, see Google review management for restaurants.

Westify drafts a reply to every Google review in your voice, tracks your Westify Score and themes, and runs your loyalty card from the same panel. 3 days free, then from $29 a month per location.

Questions

Can Westify handle a Texas restaurant group with locations in several cities?

Yes. Every location connects to one account, with its own replies, Score, themes and report. Team users are unlimited, so each GM can approve replies for their own location.

Can different locations be on different plans?

Yes. Plans are per location: $29, $59 or $119 a month. A high-volume location can take a larger plan while the others stay on a smaller one.

Will replies sound the same at every location?

They follow one brand voice that you copy to each location. Each reply is still written from what that guest said, so no two replies are copies.

Does Westify reply to Spanish reviews in Spanish for Texas restaurants?

Yes. Each reply goes out in the language the review is written in. You read and edit a copy in your account's language next to it, and your edit is translated back before it posts.

Can a guest use one loyalty card at our Dallas and Houston locations?

Yes. Choose a shared card and stamps count at every location. Guests keep it in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or the browser.

Who gets alerted when a Texas location gets a 1 star review?

The owner and whoever you add to that location's alert list, by email, the same day the review comes in.
